Welcome to CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support!

To complete this qualification you will need to demonstrate competency in 15 units and complete 120 hours of work placement.  To help you complete the required units you will be provided with a Training and Support Plan to follow.

Training and Support Plan: Your trainer will meet with you to discuss your training and support plan.  Once this is developed you will receive a copy to use as a guide to support your learning journey and to complete your studies within the identified time period.

Career outcomes of CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support

Care Worker - working with people of all ages including the aged and those with disabilities.  Care work can take a place in a range of settings including people's own homes, nursing homes and hospitals.  Care workers are responsible for the physical care, emotional support and assistance of people with a variety of needs.

Personal Care Assistant - A personal care assistant provides help, support and care to patients in their daily activities directly in each client’s homes or in hospitals, aged care or healthcare organisations. They provide care for patients who are ill, aged or disabled by helping with daily activities like feeding, bathing, dressing, running errands and routine housekeeping.
