Welcome to CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support!

To complete this qualification you will need to complete 13 units.  To help you complete the required units, we have placed these into 7 subjects:

  2. Support independence and well-being
  3. Work in health and community services
  4. Support and empowerment of older people
  5. Palliative care services
  6. Provide First Aid
  7. Work placement - 120 hours to be completed

Career outcomes of CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support

Care Worker - working with people of all ages including the aged and those with disabilities.  Care work can take a place in a range of settings including people's own homes, nursing homes and hospitals.  Care workers are responsible for the physical care, emotional support and assistance of people with a variety of needs.

Personal Care Assistant - A personal care assistant provides help, support and care to patients in their daily activities directly in each client’s homes or in hospitals, aged care or healthcare organisations. They provide care for patients who are ill, aged or disabled by helping with daily activities like feeding, bathing, dressing, running errands and routine housekeeping.
