Care Worker - working with people of all ages including the aged and those with disabilities. Care work can take place in a range of settings including people's own homes, nursing homes, and hospitals. Care workers are responsible for the physical care, emotional support, and assistance of people with a variety of needs.
Personal Care Assistant - A personal care assistant provides help, support, and care to patients in their daily activities directly in each client’s homes or in hospitals, aged care, or healthcare organisations. They provide care for patients who are ill, aged, or disabled by helping with daily activities like feeding, bathing, dressing, running errands, and routine housekeeping.
